Thomas Roberts

MSc Student

Thomas Roberts is a MSc student in Cognitive Neuroimaging and Data Science (Computational Neuroscience) completing their dissertation project under the supervision of Dr. Hyojin Park. Thomas is a trained MEG Operator, has developed tools for High-Performance Computing for neuroimaging, and high-performance stimulus presentation. Their research focuses on comparing the motor and perception theories of inner speech using source-localised MEG data. During their year abroad at Korea University (고려대학교), Thomas developed their skills in neural engineering pushing them to a career in brain computer interfaces. They are particularly interested in language and motor based BCI’s and is pursuing PhDs in this area.
