Research Assistant

Thomas King graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology with Professional Placement from Cardiff University. He is currently investigating MEG brain activity during speech; particularly how non-verbal communication and physical articulation are processed by the brain in speech. The project explores a specific type of this, being facial muscle movements, and whether they correlate with MEG brain activity during speech – assessing how paying attention to different audiovisual cues and emotions affect this relationship.
