Jaya Sharma is a student in MSc Cognitive Neuroimaging and Data Science (Computational Neuroscience) within the School of Psychology, working on her dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Hoyjin Park at the Centre for Human Brain Health (CHBH) at the University of Birmingham. Her project is focusing on the classification of imagined and perceived speech using MEG data. She completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Leeds and completed a year in industry investigating the epigenetic risk factors of Alzheimer’s Disease and related diseases at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
