Jay Poh
MSc Student
Jay Poh is a postgraduate MSc student (set to complete in Sep 2026) within the University of Birmingham’s School of Psychology and under the supervision of Dr Hyojin Park at the Centre for Human Brain Health (CHBH). His MSc dissertation involves the analysis of functional connectivity differences underlying Synaesthesia, using an open-science neuroimaging dataset. Whereby he works closely alongside Dr Andrew Bagshaw and Dr Enrico Amico as well. He completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland, Australia in 2024. He’s also had extensive wet-lab research experience working as a research intern and assistant in Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) Labs during the years of 2019 to 2020.
